Our chief executive, Mr. Yu Jian, and his delegation were invited to attend the workshop.

The purpose of this workshop was to introduce the latest initiatives and plans of the United Nations/International Organizations in sustainable procurement and promoting the sustainable development of procurement work, especially the case of the DRiVE (Supplier Engagement for Responsible Value Chains) project in China. This aimed to assist Chinese enterprises in advancing sustainable development and strengthening multidimensional and comprehensive capacity building in the field of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance). The workshop also included the UNHCR online bidding system training, allowing more Chinese enterprises to understand the procurement situation of the organization and gain a better knowledge of the bidding system for those interested in participating.

The workshop fully demonstrated the plans and directions of the United Nations/International Organizations in carrying out sustainable procurement work and provided guidance on how Chinese suppliers can enhance their sustainability in current United Nations international procurement. It also provided an opportunity for enterprises to exchange ideas and explore the topic of sustainable development, seeking more cooperative business opportunities.

During the workshop, we had in-depth discussions and established extensive cooperative relationships with other participating companies. After the event, we further discussed the necessity and specific directions for promoting sustainable development with officials of the UNPICBP Office.
