Kunming, China – June 19, 2025 – The the 9th China-South Asia Expo - "2025 United Nations and International Public Procurement South Asian Market Demand Analysis and Project Matching Conference," was successfully held at the Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center. Co-hosted by Department of Commerce of Yunnan Provincial and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), the event brought together representatives from UN organizations, international procurement experts, and Chinese enterprises to explore cooperation opportunities in the South Asian market.

As one of the key events of the Expo, procurement officers from UN organizations including UNICEF, UNDP, UNHCR, and UNOPS provided on-site analysis of demand characteristics in the South and Southeast Asian markets, offering precise market guidance for domestic enterprises. The session focused on sectors critical to these regions, such as infrastructure construction, medical equipment, new energy and energy storage equipment, and emergency supplies.

As a long-term partner in UN procurement, our company was invited by CCCME to participate. Ms. Ouyang Jingjing, Manager of the Complete Equipment Department, representing our UN project team, delivered a presentation titled "New Approaches to Foreign Trade: New Channels for Global Expansion." She introduced our company's development history and our practical experience participating in international public procurement. Drawing on our recent successful cases in UN procurement, Manager Ouyang outlined the characteristics and challenges of international public procurement projects. She shared insights on leveraging core competencies and comprehensive bidding capabilities to secure international orders, as well as executing projects with professional efficiency. She emphasized, "The UN procurement market is not solely about price competition. It places greater emphasis on product reliability, supply chain integration capabilities, corporate social responsibility, and particularly alignment with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Only by truly understanding the logic of international procurement, focusing on core products, and concentrating on core markets can companies stand out in global competition."
